Looking for Creative Movement Teachers (Fall 2018)
Job Summary
Looking for part-time teacher to lead creative movement classes at preschools and child care centers in the north- and west-Boston metro area. Imagimotion Kidz specializes in providing developmentally-based creative movement programs at Preschools and Child Care Centers for toddler - kindergarten age children which stretches their imaginations through movement and music. In this safe, fun environment we promote motor development, rhythmical skills and positive self-esteems while encouraging exercise and physical fitness. Classes are held weekday mornings during the school year.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for teaching weekly themed creative movement & exercise classes for toddler - kindergarten age children. Will be provided with equipment and training for the classes. Must provide own transportation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred: Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Recreation, Dance, or Fitness
- Experience working with preschool children
- Background or interest in gymnastics, dance, exercise, fitness
- Person needs to be high-energy, organized and self motivated; love working with children and able to lead a group.
